    The Social Studies Education faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University invites you to this unique event to introduce you to the academic program and community, and provide us with the opportunity to learn more about you!  

    5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Zankel Hall- Room 420)
    The evening begins with the opportunity for prospective students to gather of current masters and doctoral students, as well as program faculty and staff from the Social Studies Education program.  This session will provide the opportunity to learn more about TC graduate student life along with the teaching experience in New York City schools.  Faculty and staff will also be available to answer your detailed questions about the academic program and financial aspects of enrollment.

    6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Macy Art Gallery- 444 Macy Hall)
    Attendees are invited to join the TC community for the One Tree, One City exhibition reception in the Macy Art Gallery.  Presented by the No-Boundaries Art Exhibition Committee, a non-profit international education platform of the Columbia Global Centers Initiative, this exhibition features work by students living in China, the U.S., France, Kenya, and Brazil, ranging in grade level from preschool through high school. Brought together from all across the globe, the student work in this traveling exhibition examines the bond between urban cities and the natural environment.
